Radio Waves

Filed under: General — Kevin @ 9:34 pm

Since Radio waves travel out from the earth at the speed of light and bounce off dense objects, shouldn’t we be able to focus a finely tuned radio receiver on planets 20 light years away and listen to live broadcasts from the 1940′S that were never recorded?

  1. The convex surfaces of planets would be diffuse reflectors and disperse the radio waves too much. And that would probably be the least of your problems.
