internet work

Filed under: life — Kevin @ 7:03 pm

My brother-in-law talked to me about working with him in his website business. They are going into a new area of product and asked me to be one of the people who adds content to the sites. I am interested and flattered that he asked. Who knows, maybe we can even make some money.

I lost my bus route

Filed under: life — Kevin @ 8:02 pm

As most of you know, I drive a school bus part time. Today I lost my route. Why? well because my one student (a deaf boy I was driving 35 miles to a special school) moved… two blocks out of our school district into the Brandywine district and the powers that be have determined he is their student now, regardless of how this might change or affect his education. So I have been given a very simple route, I take 4-5 special needs kids to a school about 15 miles away. That’s pretty much it. In the afternoon I still have my Kindergarten route but that only takes about 40 minutes so the rest of the time they are going to try to find things for me to do. I let them know that I am interested in a trainer position that just opened up. Who knows, maybe I will get it.

cars

We had a tie rod end replaced on our car today. Tomorrow Kathy was supposed to take it in to have the struts looked at. Tonight she hit a skunk with the same tire. We will probably need to wait a few days before we take it in. pwew!

Revival

Filed under: religion, life — Kevin @ 10:18 am

The last day of Revival is tonight. The Campbells have been up since Saturday and will be leaving early tomorrow morning. Anyone in the area who is reading this is welcome to come to the church tonight at 7 for the last one. Attendance has been pretty good. Every night has gone over the number I set in my mind as the minimum (Monday was only 1 over though). The address is 29301 Lynn Street, New Carlisle Indiana 46552 (little white church in the country). Come on out and hear a great sermon and praise the Lord in song.
