My Google rank is Back! Yup, I can once again start um, having some profit center time-outs as Rush would call them. I thank you all for popping in each day (and if you are not that frequent I thank you but encourage you to be a daily reader) because I can write all day long but if no one is reading, I get no where. Thanks again!

In this recession, which could get worse before it gets better, people are doing a whole lot of things to keep their businesses open. “Creative” things that they might not have considered doing even 6 months ago. One way to get things going for you is to start doing credit card processing at your business. It is going to help you to stay in business if you are able to accept that form of payment. People want to be able to pay with their cards and if you can’t take plastic it is just one more thing that will hurt you in the long run. Another possibility would be to get a line of credit from the company that provides your credit card machine. You get a business loan from them at 7% (not too shabby) and you make your payments by them deducting a percentage of your credit card transactions. This might have sounded like something you wouldn’t have done last year, but hey, it is legitimate and could be the difference between you staying in business and standing in the unemployment line. I was just listening to the radio and they said that it could be another 6 months before home prices hit their bottom and start to rise again. It also said that it could take 40-50 years for homes to regain what they lost (that is assuming that they increase at a rate of 2-3% a year, which, I think they will do better than that once the problem is over) if that is true though, we could see why so many people in our parents era stayed in one house their entire lives- because not to would be to ruin yourself financially.

and I am not talking about the credit crunch. An 88 year old woman fended off a naked home intruder by grabbing him in the crotch and squeezing. I say kudos to her. I also think he should have this little bit of information broadcast throughout the jail he is residing in. Check out the news video on the linked page for an extra little funny tidbit.

I was on the website of my US Representative, Fred Upton to get his address so I could send him a letter telling him that I am irked that the so called conservatives in Washington are giving away the farm. He has a survey on the site asking people if they approve of the auto industry bailout. I put my answer in and looked at the results. I was pleased that it was 67% against! This is on the site of a guy who voted FOR it. I encourage you to go HERE and vote. Let Fred know you don’t want the government putting its fingers (and our money) into private business. This is only up this week so do it soon.

Seriously folks, have you been outside in the last year and half? It is NOT warm out there. The fact of the matter is that when the leading global warming alarmist claimed that we had a really hot year, he falsified the numbers. He used September’s temps for October and just tried to pass it off as real until other, authentic scientists called him on the it.
This is what is true (and you can do some Google searches and find out that I am right): of the CO2 produced in the world, humans and their evil machines count for, wait for it… 6%. Yup, that’s how much we put in the air. 6%.
So I ask you, if we are the evil villains who are destroying the planet, how is this? Beyond that, even the fruit loops who know these numbers and still say that we are the cause of problems, they admit that if we reduced our output to even 3% (that would be half of what we put out) it wouldn’t make any noticeable change.
Here is another tidbit of information that the global warming crowd doesn’t like put out for people to know: the warmest decade on record- the 1930s. Yeah, not the 1990s or the 2000s. In fact for the last decade temperatures have basically flat-lined and for the last 18 months have been going in the, um, down direction. Yup. All this information is available and provable but most 20 something University roaming leftist wackos would rather just jump on the “We are killing the earth with global warming!” bandwagon and force people to do things that they don’t like.
Here is another little bit of information that the strange little folks at the WWF (that would be the World Wildlife Fund, not the World Wrestling Federation) don’t want you to know. Despite their TV adds that say that Polar bears are about to go extinct, the polar bear population is UP 500% from where it was in the 1970s. Just thought you might want to know.
