Well, it’s official. I am the Wolverine’s good luck charm. They don’t lose when I am there. Saturday was outstanding! They were down 19 to zip at the half and everyone had written them off. They have never come back from a 16 point deficit and won at home but in the second half they came alive and won the game 27-25 over Wisconsin. The place was exploding. Jon, my brother in law with the season tickets told me that he is going to bring me back next year to the Ohio State game because of my luck. I told him I am not sure I want that kind of pressure.

I am not sure why the AFA needs to have a McDonald’s boycott. It would seem that only the Homo’s would WANT to be going there. I mean, really.

I was talking to the little girl of a friend of mine the other day. I asked her what she wanted to be when she grew up and she replied, ‘I want to be President!’
Both of her parents are liberal Democrats and were standing there. So then I asked her, ‘If you were President what would be the first thing you would do?’
She replied, I want to help the homeless and ‘I’d give houses to all the homeless people.’ I glanced up to see her parents smiling fondly.
‘Wow - what a worthy goal.’ I told her, ‘You don’t have to wait until you’re President to help out though! You can come over to my house and mow, pull weeds, and sweep my yard, and I’ll pay you $50. Then I’ll take you over to the grocery store where this homeless guy hangs out, and you can give him the $50 to use toward a new house.’
Since she is only 6, she thought that over for a few seconds. While her Mom glared at me, she looked me straight in the eye and asked, ‘Why doesn’t the homeless guy come over and do the work, and you can just pay
him the $50?’ And I said, ‘Welcome to the Republican Party.’
Her folks still aren’t talking to me.

Your Social Security

Franklin Roosevelt, a Democrat, introduced the Social Security (FICA) Program. He promised:

1.) That participation in the Program would be completely voluntary.
2.) That the participants would only have to pay 1% of the first $1,400 of their annual incomes into the Program,
3.) That the money the participants elected to put into the Program would be deductible from their income for tax purposes each year,
4.) That the money the participants put into the Independent ‘Trust Fund’ rather than into the General Operating Fund, and therefore, would only be used to fund the Social Security Retirement Program, and no other government program, and,
5.) That the annuity payments to the retirees would never be taxed as income.

Since many of us have paid into FICA for years and are now receiving a Social Security check every month — and then finding that we are getting taxed on 85% of the money we paid to the federal government to ‘put away’, you may be interested in the following:

Then, after violating the original contract (FICA),the Democrats turn around and tell you that the Republicans want to take your Social Security away! And the worst part about it is, uninformed citizens believe it!
If enough people receive this, maybe a seed of awareness will be planted and maybe changes will evolve. Maybe not, some Democrats are awfully sure of what isn’t so. But it’s worth a try. How many people can YOU send this to? Actions speak louder than bumper stickers.
