The pool

Filed under: life — Kevin @ 10:52 pm

Today I spent about two hours working on the pool. There were a lot of leaves in it and I had shocked it for alge a few days ago and the dead stuff needed vaccuumed of the bottom. By the time I got done the water was too low so I ran the hose into it… and then forgot to turn it off for about 4 hours. Yep, now I have to drain some of it. Issues, issues.

This site

Filed under: life — Kevin @ 5:18 pm

There are posts on this site that I have made over the past year or so which have caused people distress. I regret that. This site was originally set up with the thought that no one but my family and a few close friends would see it. I used it to vent frustrations and say things, basically to myself, that I would probably not voice publicly. Sometimes I wrote when I was angry at something and used this as a form of therapy or something like that. Virtually no one ever read it. Yes, I can track that. IP addresses are recorded whenever someone hits a site and I know that only 17 people were doing any real reading on it (other than a few people who had popped in, didn’t spend any time and left). That is, up until a short time ago. Then people began to monitor it. Yes, I can tell. In the past two weeks my site traffic has trippled. In order to keep further people from having their feelings hurt I will be turning several of the posts I made “private” Which means you can no longer see them but they are still there. I won’t delete them because if someone really desires to know what was so terrible I can give them access. Sorry for hurt feelings, most of you were never meant to read my thoughts.

Well, something happened yesterday that has totally and completly rocked my world and blown me away. Trouble is, I can’t talk about it… Yet. I will in a week or so.

“She turned me into a newt!….. I got better.”

Last night I initiated the kids (while fast forwarding one particulare scene). They thought some parts were hilarious of course. At the ending Kylie thought it was great, Amanda said “That movie was really stupid.” April just rolled her eyes and laughed.

125 degrees

Filed under: life — Kevin @ 12:17 pm

This is my friend Ryan. He is a Captian in the US army stationed in Iraq. Nothing in this photo is rigged in any way, that is just how hot it is there. I wonder what it will be by late July?
