For the past several days I have been noticing a gigantic spider web in the  pine tree next to my driveway. The thing is three feet across and stretches from two branches and the ground to a point 7 feet in the air.  Yesterday I saw the monstor that makes it every day; a spider with a body the size of a nickel.  Not the legs mind you, just the body, because with the legs she is easily half dollar size.  Not the sort of thing I would want to wake up seeing it crawling on my face, but I sure like all the bugs she is getting rid of.
